 RUSU is currently recruiting for Student Liaison Officers at our City & Bundoora Campuses.

Description

We are seeking an energetic, flexible yet highly organised individual with excellent administration skills, customer service experience and a genuine passion for working with students and youth.

The Student Liaison Officer works as part of a team. Through staffing and coordination of the RUSU information counters and participation in some RUSU outreach events (including the weekly free healthy breakfast program); this position will be the first point of contact with RUSU services for individual students.

This role provides information about Clubs & Societies, RUSU membership, volunteering, directional queries, RUSU room bookings and basic student rights information and advice.

This position will suit a candidate who has; the ability to manage priorities, support key business functions, a ‘can do’ proactive personality, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

 1.Student Liaison Officer - City Campus

 Salary: $63,554 Full time equivalent plus superannuation.

 Location: City Campus

 Employment Type: Full time (Monday to Friday) Permanent position

 1.Student Liaison Officer – Bundoora Campus

 Salary: $63,554(Full time equivalent) plus superannuation.

Location: Bundoora Campus

Employment Type: Permanent Full time/Part time (ongoing)

As RUSU shuts down over summer at Bundoora this position is a full time/part time mix.

The hours are:

- Full time 5 days (35 hours) per week from February through to October.

- 0.6 FTE 3 days (21 hours) per week in November

- 0.4 FTE 2 days (14 hours) per week during December to January (worked at the city campus).

 There is the option to take December and January off as annual leave rather than work 2 days/ week at the city campus. This flexibility makes it perfect for parents with school age kids, or for an applicant who wants to travel during the summer breaks.
