The RMIT Buddhist Society aims to help our members achieve a clear and comprehensive understanding of the Buddha's teachings. In looking at the essence of the teachings and the expedient means or form, we hope to encourage practice that is useful and easily integrated into everyday life to support student well being.

The Society runs regular intoductory and intermediate meditation retreats, meditiation cushion making events etc.

The RMIT Buddhist Society emphasises gaining wisdom through interaction with the world and allowing selfless ungrasping motivatiobn to drive one's actions to releive suffesring.
