Who we are:

RUSU Activities & Events make your uni experience as much fun and as you can possibly handle. The department is run by 2 staff members and 1 student elected representative.

What we do:

All work and no play makes RMIT students bored… RUSU Activities will get you moving with one of our many weekly events;

CITY CAMPUS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS:

• Free Yoga @ City: Tuesdays 11.30-12.30 pm Thursdays 3.30-4.30 pm. (8.3.18 student meet room)

• Chill N Grill: Free Cider, Beer, BBQ, vege tucker & good Beats Wednesdays 12.00-2.00pm. Bowen street (near Casey Plaza

• Free Breakfast: Bagels, Coissants, pastries: Thursdays from 8.30 am (8.3. in front of RUSU Offices)

• Drinks with friends: Free networking drinks & chill out beats: Thursdays from 4pm (Pearson & Murphy's cafe, bld 1)

• International student lunch: Free international food, Fridays 12-1pm (8.3.18 student meet room)

 

BUNDOORA CAMPUS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

• Free Yoga @ fundoora: Monday 11.30-12.30 pm, Wednesday 1.30-2.30 pm Bundoora (202.3. rec space)

• Starving Students day: free food, sometimes beer & cider..music & good times! Thursdays 12-2 pm. Bundoora (Bld 204. student union courtyard)

• Free Tai Chi classes: Thursday 9.30 -10.30 am (Bld 204. student union courtyard)

BRUNSWICK CAMPUS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

• Mr. T's Free Lunches: mostly healthy, mostly vegan! Tuesdays 12-1 pm, Brunswick (514.1)

BOURKE STREET CAMPUS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

• Pop up pub: Free DJ's, networking drinks & sunshine! Last wednesday of every month, Building 108, level 4 courtyard

• Free pizza's @ Tivoli: Mondays 12.00-1.00pm Student Union office (bld 108 lvl 3)

CARLTON CAMPUS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

• Carlton Brunch: Bagels, danishes and more, Thursdays 10-11 am, Carlton (94.3.Library)

What else you need to know:

You can help make RMIT a vibrant place to be. If you're up for the challenge, you can run (with our help) your very own event by becoming part of the activities collective. Drop by your nearest RUSU information counter and sign up to join the collective or volunteer at one of the many events. Our volunteers work hard and party harder - that's why we love them! email Renee or Courtney for more info.

The Activities Department hosts regular inter-varsity events, sports and recreation trips, thanks to our membership in Tertiary Recreation Entertainment Victoria (TREV). THANKS TREV - u make uni funner.
