RUSU Environment Department
RUSU is working harder than ever to make RMIT a more
environmentally friendly place to learn, study and socialise.
We are looking at new ways to actively reduce the current volume of drinking water going down drains around RMIT, reducing the RUSU Carbon footprint and lowering paper usage and waste around campus. We are working on these and many other issues collaboratively with RMIT University.
We hope to set up a system that will help more people to ride to uni, particularly into the city and receive expert advice on how to maintain your bike properly. For more information on this and other bike info click here.
RUSU is committed to reducing our environmental footprint and helping you to reduce yours too. The furniture cage and E-Waste recycling projects will help to achieve this as will education on saving electricity, water, reducing waste, growing your own food and living more sustainably in general.
