Volunteering at Realfoods

Volunteers are needed to help out with the day-to-day running of the café. They are the heart and soul of Realfoods and are involved in activities such as food preparation, customer service, event planning and promotions. In exchange for a 1.5 hour shift, volunteers are welcome to a complimentary meal and drink, plus access to free training to gain certification in food safety, first aid and RSA. Realfoods provides a sense of community and is a great way to forge new friendships and gain real-world skills for your resume. Spending some time at Realfoods is a fantastic option to increase your enjoyment of the university experience, especially if you have a break between lectures that you'd like to fill with a fun, meaningful, social activity. Realfoods also runs cooking classes for the public and excursions you can get involved with too. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out a Volunteer Sign Up Form and drop it into the the RMIT Student Union front desk (building 8, level 3).
To Volunteer in Semester 1 you must attend the Welcome Day on Friday March 2nd 2 pm Building 8 Level 3 Room 18. For more info visit the front desk.
