What is the Student Union?

The RMIT Student Union is your voice within RMIT and the wider community.
The Student Union represents and advocates on behalf of all TAFE and University, local and international students. We campaign, lobby, protest and organise around issues that are important to students - and have been doing so since 1944.
All of our decisions, services and campaigns are based on our core idea of student control over student affairs. That means that students control all of the Student Union's decision making processes, and all students are able, and encouraged, to have their say.
