WEB COLLAGE
As a co-operative, Organarchy is owned and controlled by students for the benefit of all students. As a social enterprise, the organisation reflects it’s values. Organarchy is a non-profit organisation that strives to balance social, environmental and economic goals and objectives and aims to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all. Organarchy is dedicated to supplying fair trade, healthy, organic food at affordable prices. Ways to contribute to this exciting enterprise include:

Volunteering
Volunteers can gain great experience at the co-op, as well as being part of a community to feel welcome in, an abundance of chats and laughs, retail and customer relations experience is also gained. It is a great place for people to gain hospitality experience as well as a sense of community. And on top of having a great time, meeting amazing people and contributing to the ongoing success of Organarchy, you will also get a free meal. Brilliant!
Get involved! Come along to meetings, have a say and let us know any ideas you may have to make Organarchy even more of a success.

Fruit and veg service
Organarchy also offers a bulk buying fruit and veg service – all you have to do is come and place an order at Organarchy and then pick up your order when it is ready. It is cheaper than going to the markets yourself and the best bit is that all the hard work is done for you!

The Organarchy kitchen
The Organarchy kitchen is going to be bigger and better than ever in 2009 which means that there will be even more ways for students to get involved. One of the new projects for 2009 is cooking classes, to be held in the Oganarchy kitchen, where co-op volunteers can learn how to cook delicious meals using the produce from your fruit and veg box. From these classes, we will be putting together a booklet of recipes and tips for students to use so that you can then take the skills you’ve learned at Organarchy back to your own kitchen. There will also be various crossover activities with the Environment Collective, so stay tuned!

Location
Organarchy is located in the food court (building 8, level 4) of RMIT University city campus, Swanston St. So come down, say hi, and let us know the ways you would like to contribute to Organarchy’s ongoing success!
