RUSU is working harder than ever to make RMIT a more environmentally friendly place to learn, study and socialise. The Environment Collective is a group for students interested in sharing ideas, campaigning for positive change and learning new skills. We hold regular get togethers and would love to see you there! Contact us to get involved by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are interested in growing your own food check out the RUSU Veggie Garden project. We are excited to help you learn life long skills and reduce the environmental impact of your food choices.
We hope to set up a system that will help more people to ride to uni, particularly into the city and receive expert advice on how to maintain your bike properly. For more information on this and other bike info click here.
RUSU is committed to reducing our environmental footprint and helping you to reduce yours too. The Furniture Cage recycling project will help to achieve this at the same time as providing RMIT students with free furniture!
Check out RUSU Realfoods, our on-campus Student Union cafe, and see the fantastic changing seasonal vegan and vegetarian, organic menu! Realfoods offers volunteer opportunities to students interested in learning about sustainable food choices, gaining valuable hospitality experience and making new friends.
