Tivoli Campus Committee activities in Semester One, 2008
Bollywood Nite was held at Red Love on the 1st May and was a great success. The free Bollywood entertainment had people on the dance floor and the bar tab for Student Union members ensured jolly time was had by all!

Tivoli Campus Committee along with the RMIT Association of International Students celebrated Puthandu -Tamil New Year on the Building 108 courtyard. Students enjoyed free Indian food and drinks, as well as traditional Tamil singing and dancing performances. LEAD, the volunteer program was also there to inform students about the volunteering activities they could become involved in.
As Business students settle down to study during SWOTVAC (the study vacation week that RMIT removed from the academic calendar last year, but the Student Union fought for and won back) we know that they can often forget to eat! So Tivoli Campus Committee organised a Pizza and Student Rights Info Day, in the Student Union Office, where students had free Dominoes pizza and could ask our Student Rights Officer questions about Appealing Assessments or about their rights when advised they are At Risk.
In Semester Two we hope to hold a number of free BBQs to promote the Cross Campus Campaign for Concession Cards. The RMIT Student Union believes that ALL students should have access to concession cards which allow discounted travel. These are not currently available to International, Part-time or Post Graduate students. We believe this is discrimination and hope to gather as many signatures for the petition as possible.
If you have any ideas for events, tours or social nights, come to the Tivoli Campus Collective meeting every Tuesday, Building 108, Level 3, room 33.
